Rules

Short, because there isn't much to it.

Ranking

• Highest total bid sits at #1. Ties go to whoever got there first.
• The grid is 35 spots — one page, no overflow. Once it's full, getting on means outbidding the last spot, and whoever held it drops off the board.
• To move above a spot you must beat it by at least $1.
• Bids on the grid start at $5, and are held until someone outbids you.
• The Dock works differently: $50 rents a slot for 12 hours. When that runs out the slot returns to the board and anyone can take it — including you again, at the same price.

Payments

• Your bid is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• Raising your bid charges only the difference between your new amount and your current total.
• Bids are not refundable, including when someone outbids you. You keep your spot at whatever rank your total earns for as long as the board runs.

What we'll take down

• Anything that isn't a real macOS app — App Store or direct download.
• Listings whose link dies, or whose App Store page Apple removes.
• Logos you don't have the rights to use.
• Malware, scams, and adult content.

If a listing is removed for one of these reasons the bid is forfeited. We'll email you first where we can.

Data

Click counts are aggregate. We don't sell visitor data, and the “watching now” number is a live count with nothing stored after the visitor leaves.
